The Photography Assistant Job Description:

This is an entry level position. No experience necessary. We will train the right candidate. Photography assistant’s job is to show up on location on time to assist with the booked photo sessions. During the sessions, it will be the responsibility of assistant to: carry around the needed gear and equipment for photographer during sessions, learn different lighting techniques to help get the right lighting on the subjects for their photos, and help and assist the photographer as needed during the sessions. The job does require working in the heat and in the cold, as most sessions are outdoors or have some portion of the session outdoors, year round.  This position also has some limited hands-on videography and photography responsibilities for events too. The job starts at $11.00 an hour, 5-15+ hours most weeks. Bonuses can be earned. Employees are eligible for our Employee discount on sessions.
